INTENDED AUDIENCE: Personnel who inspect and operate powered industrial trucks

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course covers the differences between operating a forklift and other vehicles, differences in types of forklifts, concepts such as center of gravity and the stability triangle, calculating safe loads, operation safety, vehicle inspection, and manipulation of controls. Participants must pass a written exam and are evaluated using a job performance measure.
