ETTP employees who have a need to identify unclassified controlled nuclear information
UCNI Reviewing Officials review documents for UCNI consistent with their UCNI Authority description using approved UCNI guidance. UCNI allows for the protection of certain sensitive design and security information concerning nuclear facilities, material, and weapons. As an Reviewing Official (RO), the employee determines if documents or material contain UCNI and protect it from unauthorized release to promote National Security. Candidates for RO must be nominated by their Supervisor and approved by the Classification Officer. To get the process started, one would complete Form-2269, then attend training and pass exam.
